Emergency Services / Disaster Action Team:
- Prepare for and respond to local disasters.
- Provide comfort and guidance, and help clients meet basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter, and medicine.
- Provide canteen support for rescue workers.
- Provide first aid support at community events.
Health and Safety Committee:
- Teach health and safety information to schools, organizations, and community members. Courses include
- Babysitting Safety, Fire Prevention and CPR/AED/First Aid.
Armed Forces / Veterans Committee:
- Plan special events to recognize members of the armed forces and veterans.
- Provide information about Red Cross services to members of armed forces and local veterans.
Blood Drive Coordinator:
- Schedule and coordinate a blood drive. Recruit and schedule blood donors. Recruit / train volunteers for the blood drive.
Special Events Committee:
- Help plan and execute special events and fundraisers.
